Concerns Over New Pricing Structure and Custom Domain Limits

Just seen the new pricing structure and there is now a limit of 10 on custom domains, where it was unlimited before 😢 I have already paid annually, does my account stay as before? I haven't received any emails about the change of terms.

I believe we are moving forward with a cap. I don’t think we will unpublish/disconnect any domains that were connected prior to this change. We’ve had to add some caps to deal with abuse, and while it’s probably frustrating we believe that $25/mo for 10 domains is still good value when comparing to other website builders (who often charge that much for for one site, no other ai capabilities)

Yes I think it probably is, BUT I wouldn't have committed for 12 months, with a cap - it was what swung me! So I feel a bit cheated, if that is the case. I actually have only one custom domain connected, at present. But I work with freelancer start-ups and was my intention to offer super cost effective sites for them, which I will no longer be able to do. And sadly it's too expensive for my start-ups to purchase themselves, when the only have need for a single domain, and may never touch the site again after initially creating it. Would you consider offering a low cost hosting only (no edits - or edits on a PAYG option)?

I am delivering a "create your own website using AI" workshop tomorrow, and have now had to add in other more cost effective options, where I was going to just concentrate on Gamma 😢

Hi Nicola, if you have more than 10 custom domains before the plan changes, you will be grandfathered in and allowed to keep your existing custom domains. However, you will be unable to add any new domains until you get below 10 across your workspace.

And while not advertised, there previously actually was an undocumented custom domain limit even for Pro users. The current Ultra plan far exceeds that previous limit for up to 100 custom domains now. But it's good to hear. your feedback on the impact the new pricing plans have had on you and I'm sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused
