Hi, I mostly use Gamma for presentations. And I spend too much time translating a presentation to an 8.5x11 “written” report on PDF. Pages invariably get cut off at thje in the PDF process. Is there some kind of “fit to page” trick I’ve missed?
I am doing the page setup to Letter. I’ll look for that “scale content to fit” option
Thanks
Thanks — I’ve done this now. But there are still issues with the bottom of several pages cutting off.
Are these on docs you've created already and are adjusting the format for retroactively, or is content on initial generation going off the page consistently?
Especially if scale to content to fit is switched off, you'll need to manually verify your Gamma doc and look for the dotted horizontal line at the bottom indicating where the Letter size cutoff will be, and adjusting your content to be smaller or split into multiple cards to fit
Yeah, I’ve been using the dotted horizontal line as a reference and trimmed to fit. But 25% of the time or so, even when I’ve trimmed it goes off the page when I export to PDF. So I end up exporting multiple times during a project just to get an accurate measure.
Some are docs I’ve created already and some are initially generated. Problem seems to be with both.
Do you have an example doc you can share of your content being above the dotted line but still getting cutoff? In what type of export?
It’s the PDF export. Unfortunately, I’ve got them all trimmed to fit now!
Ah! Well, when it happens again, can you please create a duplicate (feel free to remove cards that aren't relevant) and confirm the export results and we can look into it
