How to Move Gamma Presentations to a New Workspace Efficiently

Hi, Gammites! My company (Public Media Company) has created a new Gamma Pro workspace. We were using a previous Pro workspace that was kluged together using a private credit card (that has since expired). What we’re trying to figure out now is how to moved all the Gamma presentations (30 or so) from the old workspace to the new workspace, using the brand template from the old workspace. Everywhere I look online and in the YouTube help videos, it basically says you’ve got to export each individual Gamma to Powerpoint or Google Slides, and then import them into the new workspace. But what I’ve tried looks terrible — different templates, colors, etc., and a lot of the AI-assisted charts are a mess. Has anybody run into this? Is there a way to do this simply and cleanly? (And if not, why not? Surely we’re not the first folks to run into this…) Thanks!

In a situation like this, Gamma support would offer to help add a new email address to your old existing workspace that way your old docs can be shared with the workspace/with the new admin in that way. This requires a subscription cancellation (partial refund if appropriate), your removing the old user/email, then resubscribing. To go around that process your workaround you've described is one of the only other ways

Is there a reason in particular you no longer want to continue with the old workspace?

It was set up by an individual and charged to a personal credit card; We want a corporate workspace that can be easily used by multiple folks

While I’ve got you, separate question: I’m tweaking the standard theme in the new workspace. And I’ve got it just where I want it — except the smart layout colors are all the same grey of the callout text box. I want the smart layouts to use the secondary accent colors instead. Is there a way to get that specific in customizing a theme?

So yeah, you could've probably reinitiated a subscription on the old workspace and set it up on the corporate card, but it sounds like that ship has sailed and there's no easy way to transfer docs between Gamma workspaces, unfortunately.

Hi Rick H., I suspect this is the block fill color setting — you can change this under Design > Blocks & content and specify any color. If that doesn’t do the trick, could you send the theme share link? That would help me give you a definitive answer!
