hi there, I’m trying to publish a gamma site to a domain that I own and for some reason it’s creating this domain versus connecting it to the straight NobleCareAi.org. How do I fix this? https://noblecareai.org/wwwnoblecareaiorg
Hi Kristin N.! I have a few questions for you. Are you trying to use the apex domain noblecareai.org or a subdomain like www.noblecareai.org? In Gamma → Site settings → Domains, is the exact hostname you want added there? For example, add “noblecareai.org” if you want the apex, or “www.noblecareai.org” if you want www.
I used www.noblecareai.org for some reason I cannot fix this and it’s still creating the redundancy. I tried to go into my DNS and use my CME to redirect it.
Help
Kristin N. Thanks for confirming you want www.noblecareai.org. Here’s the simplest way to make it work without duplicates: In your domain’s DNS
Create exactly one website record:
Type: CNAME
Host/Name: www
Target/Value: sites.gamma.app
Remove any A/AAAA for www.
Do not put a CNAME at the root (noblecareai.org)
Redirect the root to www
In your domain provider’s dashboard, set a 301 “URL forward/redirect” from noblecareai.org → https://www.noblecareai.org
Use their Redirect/Forward feature, not DNS.
In Gamma
Go to Site settings → Domains.
Add www.noblecareai.org and click Verify.
Optional: also add noblecareai.org so Gamma recognizes it, but traffic should land on www.
After saving, wait ~15–30 minutes and test:
https://www.noblecareai.org loads your site
https://noblecareai.org redirects to https://www.noblecareai.org
