Request for Agent. In addition to the original / modified card it would be great to get a checklist of changes agent made so I can uncheck the items I don't want. (I'm noticing it makes mistakes sometimes). This would also be helpful as a way to confirm what's being editing and keep agent accountable. I'm the primary person responsible for the final output so this would help me have more confidence that agent it helping and not creating issues for me. (I'm posting in 🔒[private feed] when I think it's not following instructions in a way that is egregious and using the down arrow otherwise)
I love this suggestion and just ran into this type of situation with Agent yesterday!
yeah I was thinking about the RAG solutions I've seen where they have a human-in-the-loop component where it shows the files that will be used for generating an answer so that user can opt-in/opt-out. Hopefully Agent is right much more than wrong - but I think it will go a long way to have confidence in what Agent is doing it's both more transparent, and errors can be easily corrected. For now whenever I encounter a bug I have copy the things agent did I want to keep, click back on "Original" to undo the "bad" things Agent did (for instance breaking a smart diagram, reverting headers/footers, or applying a change to an unintended card), then paste the part I did want of what it did. Even without a bug I'm finding in long gammas (this one was a 33 card deck for an all hands meeting that several client stakeholders were a part of, so I couldn't afford Agent to introduce issues and had to be vigilant when using it, so I could see the lack of transparency on what Buddy edits making it not worth it for some users).
Mariena Q. like an undo function with the exit action taken by buddy but the ability to delete something 10 steps back but leaving the last 9 intact OR delete all last 10 steps. They are two different things.
I imagined it like this
I make a request to Buddy
Buddy tries to figure out what I want and decides my request involves doing a, b, c on card c1, c2, c3
Buddy tell me it made changes to 3 cards, shows the thumbnail. Little "show more detail" link expands when clicked
c1 updated a, b; c2 updated a, c, c3 updated a, b, c.
I uncheck c1 and c2, I only wanted one card updated; or I uncheck b that change was not intended
Something to that effect, not knowing if and how the prompt is broken down and that information is even stored or if it's a black box to gamma itself... then that would make anything like this quite an undertaking... 🤷♀️ I'm just here to share what I'm noticing as a heavy user of Agent as how it affected both my ability to trust the outputs on a deck where my collaborators had strong opinions about every little detail being right (and were inclined to not use Agent if it might make the wrong change and that change is hard to spot). But hoping there's a solution for this as I think it would go a long way with users. to your point, I would not expect this level of control for a prompt that is in my history. For that I think restoring an older version of the deck would be appropriate, undoing individual changes from the past that might conflict with more recent history seems unreasonable to me. But who knows I'm sure there are other users out there more unreasonable than me 😂
