How to Create Complex Layouts That Extend Beyond Page Margins in Docs

Hi, Is there a way to make a more complex layout similar to docs where the shape isn't restricted to page padding/margings? I want this shape to fill out the entire sides, the second image is what I'm looking to re-create from a canva design

in page setup make this a document. i like to use the pageless setting for full-bleed rather than the padded card views. and i often set my font size to small and width to large to maximize real estate used
