Jamie R...good one. I was reading it and found it dense. In a PRO license if you add a team member. Then you now have a team license. The team or business plan is protected, but the others are not. This is in line with ChatGPT etc. and other setups, but it would be cool if Gamma went the other way and just protected all users.
Here is my plain English of this legal word salad.
AI Model Training
If you’re on a Team or Business plan, your content is kept private and will not be used to train our AI.
If you’re on a Free or Individual plan, your content may be used to improve our AI, unless you have a privacy setting that blocks this and you turn it on.
Now, if I extend this to simplified legalese, it will make more sense.

For users on a Team or Business plan, your content will not be used to train our AI models.
For users on all other plans, unless privacy controls for AI training are available and activated, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, and sublicensable license to use your content to train, improve, and refine our models, systems, products, and services.
