Feature Request: Select Images and Include Original Source When Importing Content

I'd love to see two key features when importing content from links or other formats. it'd be awesome to have the option to cherry-pick which images I want to keep in the newly generated file. I'd like to be able to decide whether to include the original source (like the link or source file) in the generated generated file.
