So I'm an industrial designer and I've been using gamma for about a year now. I haven't found many direct applications for it in my day to day but it does make building project introductions and project briefs pretty easy. Has there been any talk of using Gamma for "Tech Pack" creation? This is something that people like me do day in a day out. If there was a way to speed the process up OR to upload a draft and have gamma fill in the rest by asking questions it would be a gamechanger for my industry.
not something we’ve talked about (to my knowledge) but would love to learn more! could you attach or dm an example 👀
got it!! have you tried creating something like this in gamma already & what happened? i’d def be interested in learning more — if you’d like to chat live here’s my calendly!
Alison, just thought about this, it would be a super easy add (I think) the ability to import STL or OBJ (3d cad files) into gamma, then be able to rotate pan zoom the model on the page to get the right view for the info on that page. Like you could place a 3d PDF on a slide find the angle you want and have gamma do the text / layout
great talking with you

Ahead of our meeting tomorrow, I wanted to share one of the ideas Fred and I have been exploring for how Gamma might fit into our sales and design workflow. Fred leads sales on our team, and I’ve been introducing him to Gamma as a potential tool for creating more dynamic and personalized B2B outreach. The concept is this: starting from our general product guide, we could use Gamma—powered by GPT—to generate tailored product catalogs for each client. These catalogs would adjust based on factors like geographic region, brand colors, and other demographic or behavioral data we can gather about the buyer or their company. To support this, I’ve created a rule sheet that helps GPT format its responses specifically for Gamma—producing copy-paste-ready content for deck generation. From there, we build custom decks that can be turned into sharable web pages. What makes this powerful is the ability to track engagement: who viewed the link, how long they spent on each page, what they interacted with, and whether the deck was shared. That insight can help Fred and the sales team follow up with more targeted messaging and offers—effectively closing the loop between content creation and sales conversion. Looking forward to sharing this idea in more detail on the call.
