Issue with Reference Preservation When Importing Gemini Deep Research Documents into Gamma

Hi Gamma wizards I had an idea around reports and research reports. I've recently tried to use a document I made using Gemini Deep Research to create a document on Gamma but it seems to have lost all the references and the entire reference list even though I selected 'preserve' Might be something of a delta to look at? Ax

Hi Ankeeta, this is a great idea! I find that I have to customize the input a bit before I import the Google doc into Gamma. Also using a tool like Napkin for the reporting or graphs definitely help with cleaning up how the data looks in your Gamma.

Oh and I usually will try and tell the AI tool in Gamma to link any number after a period to the works cited at the bottom of the article
