How IDEA Uses Gamma and ChatGPT to Create Weekly Agriculture and Market Reports for Uganda Farmers

We at IDEA run a national Weekly Agriculture, Food Market, and Farming Weather Report for Uganda that reaches over 18,000 farmers, extension agents, and NGO staff. Using Gamma’s Generate API as the final design engine in an agentic workflow with ChatGPT, we turn messy data from weather services, price feeds, and agronomy guidance into a polished, mobile friendly report every week. Gamma transforms a structured research package into a beautiful, scannable deck that we share via WhatsApp, web, and email, and we are now preparing to replicate this model in new countries.
