Interest in Using MCP Server with LibreChat Client for Integration

I am interested in the MCP server as well, potential use case is to use it with a LibreChat client.

Hey Sandeep! Thanks for your interest in our MCP server, that's awesome to hear. Right now our MCP connector is available through Claude -- you can find it in Claude's MCP integrations and start using it to generate presentations, docs, and webpages right from your conversations. We don't currently support connecting to third-party clients like LibreChat, but it's great feedback for the team to have. I'd love to learn more about what you're building though! What's the use case you have in mind? Understanding how folks want to use the MCP server helps us a ton as we think about where to take things next. In the meantime if you have any other API questions don't hesitate to reach out, happy to help however I can.

The use model is the same as wrote above, but the company uses LibreChat. If you can provide an MCP server that can work with LibreChat, that opens up this use for our company.

Why is it tied to Claude only ? We do use Anthropic API's with LibreChat but not the claude app.

Great question! Right now our MCP server is only available through Claude, it's not an intentional lock-in, we're just early in our MCP journey and that's where we launched first. Broader client support is definitely something we're excited about and thinking through, I just don't have specifics to share on timing yet. I'll make sure the team knows there's interest from folks using LibreChat. In the meantime if there's anything else I can help with, especially around our REST API which works with any client, just let me know!
