Using Custom Templates with the Gamma Generations API for Enhanced API Integration

I think the confusion here is the difference between a theme and a template. Theme seems to work, but templates don't. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

correct, I have functionality in my templates that I need . Technically I can add it to the prompt but that adds a lot of complexity and I get inconsistency in output.

yeah im in the same boat and waiting for the templates function - maybe worth a chat thouogh Dave to see if we can find a workaround would love to know/see how you're using it

Ah I see! I never used the templates function and thought themes where the limit. I didn't know I wanted this feature

Seems like a challenge to implement right, though. I'd want to adjust all the custom AI generated slide options. The entire value of Gamma presentations are their flexibility to match a slide design to the content.

(the engineers have not approved that estimate but we are definitely getting close. I’ve been told it’s much faster to build a second API)
