API Alpha Update: New Polling Version, Privacy Controls, Faster URL Delivery, and MCP Integration Guide
@here Hi API alpha testers 👋 First of all, thanks so much for testing out the API and sending us feedback. We're already working on the next set of functionality and are sharing some important updates below. Details can be found in the updated API documentation here.

We've implemented a new version of the API, which supports polling. We highly recommend switching over to the polling version of the API as soon as possible, as we will use this as the baseline version of the API that we continue to improve going forward. We will leave the previous non-polling version of the API open for now, but will deprecate it in the coming weeks.

We've added two new parameters that you can use to control how you set the privacy for your API generated Gammas.

If you prefer to receive the Gamma URL faster, you can set the new parameter skipImageGeneration to true. Doing this will mean a faster turnaround for the Gamma URL and that images will finish generating once you open the Gamma.

Finally, if you're trying to generate Gammas directly from MCP clients, we've included a github repo to guide you through this process.
