Gamma API Now Uses Credit System: Higher Limits, Advanced Features, and Real-Time Usage Tracking
@here Hi everyone 👋 Starting today, the Gamma API is powered by credits. This change lets us offer higher limits and new capabilities while keeping usage predictable. Read more in our changelog and our updated documentation. What’s new
API usage now deducts credits: Each API request uses credits from your monthly allowance, based on the number of cards and image models used. Credits deducted and remaining are sent as part of the GET response.
Much higher limits: Generate up to 50 presentations per day (up from 50 per month).
Larger presentations: Create up to 75 cards on Ultra and 50 cards on Pro.
Advanced image models: Access new AI image models ranging from 2 to 120 credits per image.
Zapier integration: Connect Gamma to thousands of apps without code.
Your credits
Pro plans include 4,000 credits monthly, with rollover up to 8,000 total.
Your dashboard shows how many credits you have remaining in real time.
Need more? Upgrade to Ultra for more credits today, or purchase additional credits within Pro (coming soon).
