How to Upgrade Subscription for More Credits and Better Pricing Economy

Hi All & @Max J. I'm currently on 75£/month for 20,000 credits using only API is it possible to increase the subscription to get a better economies of scale on price per credit? I think I would need probably 40,000 month. The current problem is that once you go out of credits is incredibly expensive to top up, and I believe Im already on the highest paid subscription?

Hey Julio! 👋 On the pricing question: Ultra is our highest self-serve plan, and we don't offer volume discounts on credits at this tier, so there isn't a way to get a better per-credit rate by upping the subscription right now. For the top-up pain you mentioned, the best workaround is auto-recharge, it'll add credits automatically before you hit zero, so you don't get stuck mid-generation paying the one-off top-up rate.

Open Workspace Settings (top-left menu)

Go to the Billing tab
3.
Click Enable Auto-Recharge
4.
Set your threshold (e.g. recharge when you drop below 2,000 credits) and the amount to add each time

Hi Max J. the issue is that the top up is incredibly expensive compared to ultra so is difficult to justify 75£/20,000 credits and then 200£ for the additional 20,000 credits in order to get the ~ 40,000 needed monthly

The only option that we have is to look at alernative most cost-efficient solutions or public models after we reach the ultra quota with you, and then we basically wire this up on our Backend Logic so that by day 15-20 of each month ( when we reach ultra quota) we re route the requests to a public model or most cost-effective solution. We can't really top up because the economies of scale totally break. For 40,000 tokens we would go from 75£ to approx +400£, but most importantly we would go from 0.00375£/credit to 0.01£ per credit, so not viable. We are trying to invest more on Gamma and also reduce our price per credit. Hope that makes sense 😄

If I'm the only one with this request then I assume I will need to find a solution by myslef. But hopefully this is a generic request, and maybe is worth discussing volume discounts or a higher subscription to ultra?

Hi Julio you can make requests for further flexibility and bulk pricing in Ideas & Requests but I dont have any other self serve pricing model to offer you at this time.
