It worked for me with a 1 sentence test prompt but I use a long prompt and it resulted in no images. I converted the script im using using ChatGPT to a sample postman. tested it again with a shorter prompt and resulted in no images. only time it worked was when i tried a 1 sentence test prompt. Nothing more I can do at this point but let me know cause obviously trying to use this for something

Hey Greg, thanks for bearing with me here. There's a lot of variables in play (Python, Zapier, prompt length, imageOptions) and I want to make sure we isolate the issue properly. Could you do me a favor and test directly in Postman? This rules out any potential issues with how Python or Zapier might be handling the request (JSON escaping, encoding, etc.). Here's what I'd like you to try: Request 1: Your 1 sentence test prompt that worked

Request 2: A longer prompt that failed Same request body, just swap in one of your longer prompts. For both, can you share:
1.
The full response body (generationId, any warnings)
2.
The x-request-id from the response headers
3.
Whether images generated or not when it completed
The x-request-id is especially helpful if I need to escalate to eng, they can look up exactly what happened on the backend. Also, you mentioned the logo on the title slide was empty sometimes. Is that happening consistently or just on certain requests? I know this is a lot but I want to get to the bottom of this for you!

Hey Greg, quick update before I sign off. I tested your exact prompt (~61k characters) against a template on my end and images generated without issue: https://gamma.app/docs/Sally-Clarke-v-Scott-OConnell-494ac1jff6kzvqc?mode=doc So the prompt length doesn't seem to be the problem. This points to either something specific to your template, or how Python/Zapier is encoding and sending the request. I'm heading out on vacation starting tomorrow (see my post below), so the timing here isn't ideal. If you get a chance over the holidays, try running your request directly in Postman and see if that changes anything. That would help us narrow down whether it's an encoding issue on the client side. From our end, better documentation around this is definitely a good place to start. We'll pick this back up when I'm back in January!
