Hey Nacho! Glad you're enjoying the API so far.
URLs in text won't automatically render as images in the generated content. The API currently processes them as plain text, so if you include an image URL, it'll show up as the URL string itself rather than displaying the actual image.
For now, images need to be added manually in the Gamma web app after your API generation completes.
I know this adds an extra step to the workflow, which isn't ideal for full automation. It's one of our most requested features and the product team is aware, though I can't give you a timeline on when it might ship.
If you're building something that needs images, the workaround is to generate your content via API first, then either manually add images or potentially use browser automation for that final step (though that's getting into complex territory).
