Is Uploading PDFs for Theme Creation Being Considered Alongside Google Slides and PPT?

Also curious to know if uploading a PDF as source material for theme creation is being considered? Currently you can only upload Google Slides or PPT files - but many brand standards are delivered in PDF format. Thanks!
