Is there a way that you can have Gamma keep a certain template for future slides? For example, I put together client debriefs and I have finally settled on slides that I like (developed by Gamma) so I want to continue using those as a template to essentially paste in different client data.
We’re working on that right now! Would you be open to chatting with Nikolas P. and I sometime about your use case and your needs?
I have a use case for this as well (creating online resources for my website, educational content that is consistent in more than just the theme colors and image style)
Would love to meet with either of you! Happy to throw you a $30 amazon gift card or similar for your time
We don’t have this yet but we’re just starting to design it, and would love to build up a library of real examples
(use cases & needs)
I signed up for time tomorrow, Nikolas P.. Alison B. - It’s at 930am PT - you’re welcome to join. Mariena Q. (hey friend) you wanna join?
Jill B. Mariena Q... I have the same challenge. The way I am working this is with a laborious way to first always drop the information in the same structured format into Gamma and then using additional instructions to tell what format to use and then apply the template. I never get a clean outcome and end up manually updating. I also tried to put the next text in and run it again but then Gamma starts everything from scratch. What I was wondering if you could check with Nikolas P. was if there was a way to pull in a template that has slides that can be identified as non negotiatble i.e. AI will only retain the existing structure and format and use the new info on the card to force fit to the existing template. To identify that we may need a marker on the slide that says only text update allowed no changes to design and images preselected. Hope your call goes well. thanks.
Deepak B. do you want to catch up
I have the old call recording, but if you could walk me through your template—I honestly thought of you today earlier when I was doing some research planning
yes Jill B. add me to the invite!
my current process is to copy a gamma and then update individual cards so formatting stays the same. i usually work out the wording outside of gamma since i don't often like the gamma output, but i can then use gamma to try different visualizations. i won't share anything else i need to save something for the call 😂
Nikolas P. .. I squeezed in 30 minutes in your diary for 5pm Central on Wed 18th June. Will walk you through what I want to do and then show you what I ended up doing. Will also tell you what I did to create a PowerAutomate setup that took raw information and pumped it out into a standard template but that was going back ten years!!
Done, Mariena Q. - sorry I missed this yesterday.
Got redirected here from my recent chat. I’d love to use this for sales decks for proposals as well as case studies.
CJ B. would love to chat with you if you have time. We’re going to be prototyping something like this soon
