Exploring Gamma's Blog Functionality: Key Features and Capabilities

Dear Team, Does Gamma support blog functionality if I want to use it to regularly publish articles or updates? I'm exploring the possibility of using Gamma not just for presentations or one-pagers, but as a platform to host and maintain a blog. To make an informed decision, I’d love to understand: 🔍 Key Functional Capabilities:

Content Creation:

Can I create long-form posts within Gamma?
Does it support text formatting (headings, lists, blockquotes, etc.)?
Are multimedia elements like images, videos, and embeds (e.g. Tweets, YouTube) supported within posts?

2.
Content Management:

Is there a way to organize content chronologically, like traditional blogs?
Can I tag or categorize posts for easier navigation and searchability?

3.
Publishing Workflow:

Can posts be scheduled for future publication?
Is there an easy way to update or edit previously published content?

4.
Navigation & Structure:

Can I create a dedicated "Blog" section within a Gamma site?
Does Gamma allow custom menus or sidebar layouts to improve blog usability?

5.
Audience Interaction:

Does Gamma support features like comments, likes, or social sharing?
Can readers subscribe or get notified of new posts?

6.
SEO & Sharing:

Are Gamma blog pages SEO-friendly?
Can I customize meta descriptions or titles for better search visibility?

Are blog pages fully mobile-optimized and responsive?

It’s not a CMS and won’t publish your blog as an email newsletter so there are some gaps in using it that way. I do publish resources on my blog but hope eventually sites will have folders or maybe a CMS integration since it’s not a robust solution today. It does have the ability to show author, date updates and video and other embeddings so it may work for you. Give it a try 🫶🏼

Gamma.AI is not a blog. The closest I have got is to write my thoughts using the AI prompt or start i Word and then move across. you can optimize everything to read clean and can then output as pdf or a site landing page. that is it from what I have seen. you are not going to get email, blog tools or any optimization. I have been to also take my clean blog in pdf and just load the pdf to my normal blog as an embedded pdf. I have used Gamma successfully to generate white papers and playbooks of up to 30 pages. It does not and cannot compete with the quality of a full DTP system like Adobe Indeisgn. Now if we ever get a way to have Gamma push output that can be pulled into Adobe Indesign of Photoshop then that would be cool. But then we are moving a different territory. In fact, my prediction is that Gamma would move in the direction of designnerr. Designrr - Create eBooks, Kindle books, Leadmagnets, Flipbooks and Blog posts from your content in 2 minutes

Yea I have found that if you want to utilize as a blog creation couple issues consistent AI generation wont create you consisten pages so you will need to duplicate once you have a layout that works. There is not comments so what we did is embed the gamma page into our wordpress site or if you use hubspot hubspot site.
